BoundaryLogic Trace 2.2

It’s finally here. BoundaryLogic Trace 2.2 is another major step forward in our mission to make legal description plotting faster, clearer, and more connected. This update builds directly on feedback from surveyors, title professionals, and GIS users who rely on Trace every day.

BoundaryLogic Trace 2.2 introduces a refined experience, smarter tools, and new integrations that keep projects moving seamlessly. From everyday usability to enterprise-grade workflows, this release takes the platform further than ever.

What’s New?

Where to start. We have expanded the platform with new editing tools, improved navigation, and powerful integrations. Here are the highlights from this release:

Undo and Redo
Correct edits instantly with Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y or toolbar buttons, giving you complete control over every step.

Legal Descriptions Window
Switch between raw deed text and the AI-extracted call list in a new dockable pane for easier verification.

Onboarding Walkthrough
New guided walkthrough for first-time users. Reset anytime from Profile → Help.

DXF Colors Consistent
Exports now honor system properties so your DXF files match professional CAD standards.

View All Projects
Search and navigate past projects with a smoother, faster interface.

Team Project Filters
Admins and owners now have cleaner filtering tools to manage all team projects at scale.

Default Sheet View
Projects automatically open in sheet view mode so you can jump straight into CAD-style editing.

Upload Window First
Every new project begins with the upload window open, so you can start working without extra clicks.

OCR Upgrade
Improved OCR now handles longer legal descriptions without cutting off text.

Partner API Docs
Enterprise and partner customers can now integrate projects, documents, legal descriptions, and GeoJSONs directly into their own systems with our new API documentation.
