Meander line

A meander line is a surveyed line run near the bank of a body of water to define its sinuosities for the original surveys. Meander lines are not property boundaries; the water body itself generally forms the boundary. Descriptions that follow a meander line or a watercourse cannot be plotted from calls alone where the record does not state them.
