Survey call

A survey call is a single instruction inside a legal description, most often a direction and a distance, such as N 41 35 E for 176.87 feet. Calls read in order from the point of beginning, and each one depends on the line before it. Curve calls describe arcs instead of straight lines, and a description’s calls taken together should enclose the property and close back on the point of beginning.
