Linear misclosure

Linear misclosure is the straight line distance between where a plotted traverse ends and where it should have ended, at the point of beginning. It is computed as the hypotenuse of the departure misclosure and the latitude misclosure. A large misclosure signals an error or a mistake in the calls; a small one indicates the description is internally consistent.
